THREE MEALS DAILY IN OUR KEENELAND DINING ROOM
Residents and their guests dine and socialize in a pleasing atmosphere and enjoy expertly prepared food and courteous service from Chef Pippi and her staff. Daily snacks are included if requested. Residents are also permitted to dine in their suites. Brooks Place pledges its residents a dining experience worthy of praise.
ACCESS TO OUR PRIVATE DINING ROOM
Beautifully decorated and adjacent to the Keeneland Dining Room, our private dining room is available for residents and offers a more personal and private dining experience with family and friends. Celebrate special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries or just enjoy an intimate dinner.
ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (ADL)
While we understand that many of our residents strive to maintain their independence, our staff is available to offer assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, toileting and eating as needed. These services are included in the monthly rental by our Servant's Heart staff.
INSTRUMENTAL ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (IADL)
Weekly maid service is included in the monthly rent. Also included are shopping assistance (limited to 10 items), laundry (bed and bath linens), assistance with chores, scheduled local transportation, clerical assistance, daily social activities (some activities/outings will be at additional nominal expense), self-administration of medication assistance.
UTILITIES AND EXTRA AMENITIES
Included in the monthly rent are utilities (electric, heating, air conditioning, trash pickup), basic cable television, cable jacks, telephone jack (resident pays for telephone service).
MISCELLANEOUS ACCOMMODATIONS
Assisted living amenities also include emergency pull cord in living, bed and bath rooms; individually controlled thermostats in each unit; access to the laundry facility; use of common living room; doorways, hallways and units accommodate wheelchairs and walkers; elevator; good natural and artificial lighting.
FEE BASED AMENITIES*
- Overnight guest stays in our model studio apartment - $100.00 per night
- Room Service - $5.00/tray (+ cost of meal)
- A Hair Salon in on the premises. Pricing is determined by the salon operator.
- Personal laundry can be done for residents at a cost of $6.00 per load.
- Weekly housekeeping is included in the monthly rent. Additional housekeeping can be provided for a fee of $15.00 per hour.
- Extra storage is available.
- A resident may share their unit with another individual by mutual agreement. A fee of $680 per month per extra person will be applied to the monthly rental amount.
- Escort service for appointments or shopping is available at a fee of $35.00 per hour.
